Brian Puspos Choreography - Poppin' by Chris Brown

This is a sequel to Brian Puspos' Wet the Bed. It's been uploaded for quite a while now and I've been trying to get myself to write about it. Finally, after much drooling, I think I am now able to contain my fangirly feelings. Or at least I can contain it long enough for me to construct a few sentences that I'm sure will end with more fangirly words. LOL!

So let me begin by saying again that Brian Puspos is a genius and incredibly sexy when he dances.

And there ended my non-drooling moment.

It's really hard to comment when all I can think of was how amazing they all were and how fluid they all move. And did I mention good looking already?

So You Think You Can Dance Season 9 Episode 1

I am a big fan of dance, and of course of So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD). It always makes me sad that SYTYCD is not shown in my country. The only consolation is that I can always go online and stream or download an episode. But it's not always easy. More often than not, I arrive at misleading websites. I know I can watch the routines on YouTube. But it's just not the same. The experience is so much better when you watch the whole episode. That's why I am so glad to have found a YouTube user who uploads the whole episode of SYTYCD 9. Here is the first episode.

You can also watch it on YouTube. Thanks so much to adolphdias1!

Sneakers + Shorts and Skirts

I am a fan of the sneakers + shorts and skirts style. One of the users I follow on Chictopia has some cool outfits that fall under this trend. Her name is Erika Marie. Her Chictopia page is fashionchalet. Check out some of her outfits below.

KZ Tandingan on X-Factor Philippines

I'm hardly impressed by singers these days, especially with the growing number of talent shows and singing competitions. Sometimes I feel like they all sound the same already. It's really a rarity to find singers and musicians who have a unique tone and personality to their voice. I think KZ Tandingan is one of those rare singers. She has her own style. And she wasn't trying to sound like anybody else but herself.

Watch KZ's audition below.

Fangirling over Lily and Jamie

I'm sqeeing like the fangirl that I am when I saw pictures of Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower HOLDING HANDS! They were spotted on Monday (July 9) as they were heading to a local cafe together and again on Wednesday (July 11) as they were walking around the streets in Toronto, Canada.

It doesn't really matter to me if it was just a PR scheme. I personally love to see them together. I think it's about time that they start appearing in public together, especially because there are still a lot of readers/fans of the book (City of Bones) who are skeptical about this pairing and with Jamie as Jace. This will hopefully show that the two would be good together onscreen and that Jamie would be perfect as Jace.

Here as some pictures. (Credits to Just Jared and Dailymail)

And I just saw the official logo of the City of Bones! I am so excited! Saw it on The Mortal Instruments Facebook Page.

I ♥ Converse

I've always had this fascination toward Converse sneakers. I don't remember when my fascination toward this specific brand of sneakers started. I just like them. I like that they seem to go along with any type of clothing. But the ironic thing is that I don't even own a pair. But I'm about to remedy that very soon. I was inspired by this woman who owns 733 pairs of Converse sneakers.

Her name was Penny Gold. She is a teacher. And she is trying to break the record for the largest collection of Converse sneakers at the Guinness Book of World Records.

According to this article, the current record holder for the most number of Converse sneakers owned is Joshua Mueller.

I searched online about Joshua and found his Flickr photo stream. According to his Flickr account, as of February 28, 2012, he has 1538 individual pairs. Perhaps the Guinness record just wasn't updated yet. Anyway, here's Joshua with his collection.

Brian Puspos Choreography (Wet the Bed by Chris Brown)

I first watched this video last year, and since then I've watched it for like a hundred times already. Brian Puspos is a genius! I love this choreography so much. It's very creative and really, really sexy. Plus the fact that they all look so good.

Okay, pardon the fangirly opening. It's really hard to keep a straight face whenever I watch that video. It's just so, can I say yummy, for the lack of better word? LOL!

So, here goes!

I like the smooth, kinda-wavy moves. Their movements were so fluid one moment then suddenly they're moving fast the next. I especially like that part where they had their hands clasped over their head and mimicked the beating of the heart just in time for the "heartbeat" lyrics. One particular move that really got stuck in my head was that part where they slid their hands down on their legs until it reached the floor. That was really awesome! It was very sexy and creative!

Watch the video below.

Finally, I have successfully installed a Facebook Comments Box on my blog. Thanks to this very helpful and easy-to-follow tutorial, Facebook Comments for Blogger.

Tadd and All-Star Lauren - Jazz

Tadd Gadduang and All-Star Lauren Froderman (season 7 winner) danced a jazz routine choreographed by Mandy Moore. Music: Another One Bites the Dust by Queen

What Can I Say?
Tadd looked really comfortable in this routine. It has a really cool vibe to it. And I think this kind of style suits him perfectly. As for Lauren, she was amazing as always. She was very sexy. Of course, Tadd was also giving his own share of sexiness. It was a good pairing. The choreography was sleek. I'm really loving Mandy Moore. All in all, it was a great performance, too bad Tadd's hat fell.

The So You Think You Can Dance Season 8 top 8 performances originally aired on July 27, 2011. Judges were Lady Gaga, Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, and Rob Marshall.

So You Think You Can Dance 9 Premiere

So You Think You Can Dance has returned!

Source

I am so excited for the 9th season of SYTYCD. I hear there will be format changes again this season. For the first time, there will be TWO WINNERS. One male and one female will win this season.

Cat Deeley returns as the host. Of course, resident judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy are also coming back. The guest judges for the auditions are Debbie Allen, Lil' C, Tyce Diorio, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Adam Shankman. Based on this announcement, I guess it means Adam won't be a permanent judge this season.

By the way, the show's 200th episode will take place this season. Really exciting!

Read more here (Season 9 Premiere and Format Changes) and here (Season 9 Schedule).

Handmade Felt Head Bands

Some felt head bands I've been working on lately.

I'm thinking of doing some DIY tutorials some time soon. Hopefully, I'll find time to do so.

Thought-controlled Robotic Arm

This is for the paralyzed, handicapped, or simply lazy people (like me) -- a device that will allow us to control a robotic arm using our thoughts. The device, called BrainGate neural interface system, has successfully undergone clinical trials. One of the test subjects is a 58-year-old woman (shown in the picture), who became paralyzed 15 years ago. She was able to control the robotic arm and get herself a drink. How amazing is that?

Read more about this device here (Paralyzed woman uses thought-controlled robotic arm to drink coffee)
